My Dear Mother
by Dawn R. Gwin
I am
thinking of you, my dear Mother
And the comforting words that you gave: How they caused me to kneel by my bedside. In the Presence of my Jesus, I would pray: "Thank You Lord Jesus for my Mother For You know how she tried to teach us
well. She's a friend that I can talk to when I am
up, or down, And Mother said I could come to You, for the times she's not around." As I'm thinking of you, my dear Mother I remember your prayers very well And the times you would open up your Bible: Late at night, I saw you drinking from the
well. I recall in my memory, dear Mother You would call a "family circle" now and
then To hold hands and pray aloud for our loved
ones: O, how I long to join that circle once
again!
"Thank You
Lord Jesus for my Mother
For You know how she tried to teach us
well. She's a friend that I can talk to when I am
up, or down, And Mother said I could come to You, for the times she's not around. Lord Jesus, can I come to You......... for my dear Mother is not around! God's grace in Dawn Gwin 1993 I pray this blesses your heart and others
as much as GOD intends.
